We were commissioned to work with the in-house Marriott team to rethink and redesign a new approach to how customers could be present with, and book properties. We created a thoughtful editorial presentation on destinations, curated around a local celebrities. Customers would be lead to the booking process through inspiring content about a destination, with the Marriott properties being part of the story. This work also lead us to be engaged to think about how the in-room experience could be controlled using voice technology. We created the Marriott audio brand called "Mira" and built a prototype voice service that controlled the in-room environment, entertainment, and bookings. The prototype was placed in 10 hotels for live customer testing.
