background

Conor has over thirty years of experience in the business of design—with twelve of those years spent as a Chief Creative Officer at digital design agencies Critical Mass, Huge, and Organic. By never failing to mingle timeless design principles with new technology, Conor has influenced the entire lifespan of digital design, as well as the digital experience of countless global brands, and a generation of designers. Most people, at some point, have encountered his work in print, on their phone, desktop, or in a physical space. He believes in always participating in the work, which is evident in the way he sits in creative sessions with his teams—teaching, mentoring, designing, and delivering. He has judged and been awarded at Cannes for Design, The D&AD Awards, The Clio's, The Webby's and numerous other international and national competitions.

Recent work highlights include establishing an 100+ person team inside Apple to evolve, design and run Apple.com. A ground up experience redesign and build for BMW. An award winning digital to physical experience for the Untied Nations. Helping Sean Combs define a new youth music experience for Revolt TV. Working with the US Olympic Committee and TDAmeritrade to raise athlete profiles for the Winter Olympics. Creating an award winning learning experience for the Massey Lectures. And pioneering the use of voice-interaction platforms to increase accessibility for people with disabilities for Marriott Hotels. Conor loves cars and automotive design. Through various agencies he has contributed to brand evolution, digital experience design, social content, product design and VR, to improve the buying and owner experiences. He has done this for BMW, Audi, Lucid, Jeep, Ford, VW and Seat.

Conor is a passionate cyclist and fan of the sport. Recently he has been working with a number of brands to bring his experience gained from working with some of the worlds biggest brands to the sport he loves. This has included partnering with David Millar on the Chpt3 , working with Rob Gitelis the CEO of Factor, consulting with the marketing team at Specialized, and launching his own publication CIRCA that reframes capturing cycling as an athletic pursuit in an artful way.
